Terms, in plain words
Last updated: October 30, 2026.
- Agreeing. By using Dinner Autopilot, you agree to these terms. The app is for people in the US. You must be 18 or older to buy the upgrade.
- Testing. While Dinner Autopilot is in testing, testers get the upgrade free and no one is charged. Any checkout in a test build uses Stripe’s test mode and can’t charge your card.
- Who we are. Dinner Autopilot is made by Alexdav LLC, an Arizona company.
- Apple’s terms. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies. These terms add to it.
- What’s free. Planning your dinners, reminders, and joining a household are free. Each household also gets 5 free quick adds in total (adding dinners you say, paste or share as a link).
- What you’re buying. The upgrade is a one-time $9.99 purchase for your household, through Stripe Checkout. It lasts for as long as Dinner Autopilot runs: it isn’t a subscription and doesn’t renew. It covers everyone in your household. It turns on autopilot, which plans your weeks, and gives you quick adds with a fair-use limit. Your receipt shows it as “Autopilot”, and your card statement as DINNER AUTOPILOT.
- If we shut down. If we ever stop offering Dinner Autopilot, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before, on this page and by email to anyone who bought the upgrade. Anyone who bought the upgrade in the 12 months before we stop gets a full refund.
- Refunds. You can get a full refund within 30 days of buying the upgrade. See /refund.
- Your household. Up to 6 people can be in one. Everyone shares the same plan and can change it. The person who started the household is responsible for who they invite. To remove someone or leave a household, email support@getdinnerautopilot.com.
- Fair use. Quick adds come with limits to keep them fair and affordable. If you reach a limit, you can still add dinners by name, and autopilot and reminders keep working.
- About dinner ideas. Dinners and recipe details the app fills in are made automatically and can be wrong. They aren’t nutrition, medical or dietary advice. Check ingredients for allergies yourself, and follow safe food handling.
- Fair play. Please don’t automate or resell the app or its services, try to break or overload it, or use it to break the law. We may suspend households that do.
- What you add is yours. You own what you type, say or paste. You give us permission to process it so we can run the app.
- As-is. We work hard to keep it running, but the app is provided as-is, without warranties.
- Limits on our liability. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential damages. Our total responsibility is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months, or $50, whichever is more.
- Disputes. Arizona law governs these terms. Disputes go to the courts in Maricopa County, Arizona. You can also use small claims court. There’s no arbitration.
- Changes. We may update the app and these terms. If we make a significant change, we’ll update this page, change the date above, and email anyone who bought the upgrade before it takes effect.
